Top of the range is the BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 8-cylinder petrol engine with two parallel turbochargers with Valvetronic, double-VANOS and petrol direct injection. It delivers maximum torque of 650 Nm across a rev range from 2,000 to 4,500 1/min. The engine produces 330 kW (450 hp) to achieve impressive acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. And thanks to High Precision Injection (HPI), maximum efficiency is extracted due to precisely-measured doses of fuel being injected into the combustion chamber, which results in fuel consumption from 9.7 to 9.6 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 226 to 224 g/km.
