From 1st of November, visitors to Plaza Indonesia and petrolheads can enjoy a new exhibition space at the Eurokars Gallery featuring an innovative design concept based on the BMW M Town marketing campaign. M Town, a digital and social communication platform, serves as a virtual dream city - for fans of the BMW M and motorsports enthusiasts in general – which specializes in high-performance sports cars. The dynamic rhythm of M Town pulsates wherever you find passion for high-performance automobiles. Now BMW fans can also feel it at the Eurokars Gallery, Plaza Indonesia. This new space provides a new touchpoint approach for BMW M fans in Jakarta. At the same time, BMW Indonesia is also previewing The BMW M4 Competition, the latest incarnation of its sporty coupé featuring power upgrades and new BMW Individual Frozen color options.
The BMW M4 carries the legacy of Sports Coupés started by the BMW M3 E30 three decades ago. This newly-launched model boasts the latest “BMW M Competition Pack”, new BMW Individual colours, handling as well as power upgrades that ramp up engine output to 450hp, as well as exclusive equipment features. The BMW M4 Competition is being introduced in the distinctive Frozen Black and sensual Frozen Red colors.

The engine lies at the heart of every BMW M model, and the M TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder petrol engine fitted in this unit produces extra power, combining the virtues of a high-revving naturally aspirated engine with the strengths of turbocharger technology to emphasize the domination of BMW M in the sports car segment. With a subtle upgrade in the engine which generates a 19hp hike in power - taking output to 450hp - The BMW M4 Competition sprints from 0-100km/h in just 4.0 seconds (0.1s faster than the non “Competition” model). Engine output is distributed through a CFRP propeller shaft to the rear wheeld by means of an improved 7-speed M Double Clutch transmission with Drivelogic. Gears can be changed automatically or manually using the gearshift paddles on the steering wheel or the gear lever, while BMW M Launch Control guarantees maximum acceleration from a standing start.
The M Competition Pack also includes Adaptive M Suspension, extensively tuned for enhanced performance and handling, featuring new springs, dampers and anti-roll bars, along with reconfigured driving modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport+ modes on the Driving Experience Control). The standard Active M Differential on the rear axle and DSC Dynamic Stability Control have likewise been configured to match the upgraded dynamics. Exclusive forged, machine- polished, weight- and rigidity- optimised 20-inch M alloy wheels – front 9J × 20; rear 10 J × 20 – with exclusive Star-spoke 666 M styling and mixed tyres (front: 265/30 R20, rear: 285/30 R20) complete the list of chassis upgrades.
For the BMW M4 Coupé, the M Competition Pack includes special lightweight M sports seats that combine perfect support under extremely hard driving with exceptional comfort on long journeys. The M lightweight sport seats are also equipped with width-adjustable backrests with vertical openings. Seatbelts with woven-in BMW M stripes cap off an extremely sporty interior ambience.
The eye-catching exterior highlights of the BMW M4 Competition include the M sports exhaust system with black chrome tailpipes. Even more than its good looks, the most distinctive feature of the M sports exhaust system is its potent sound, which brings added emotional resonance to the driving experience. The starting rumble and the distinctive burble on overrun never fail to get under the skin of dedicated drivers time and again.
The BMW M4 Competition launched in Indonesia is topped off by new BMW Individual colors - “Frozen Red” and “Frozen Black” - as well as extended BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line exterior trim. The high-gloss Black finish has been applied not only to the side window trim, window recess finishers and exterior mirror frames and bases, but also to the BMW kidney grille, the side gills and the model badge on the tail.
Price and availability.
The BMW M4 Competition will be available at BMW M Authorized Dealers from 12 November 2019 at a price of Rp. 2.349.000.000 off-the road. It comes with BMW Service Inclusive, which includes free-of-charge regular maintenance for 5 years or 60,000 km, whichever comes first, as well as a 36-month warranty without mileage limitations. The vehicle’s tires are also protected by BMW Group Tire Coverage for 3 years, covering the replacement of 4 tires during the period up to 100% which includes the cost of the tires and technician, and covers damage caused by punctures, swelling, and tears - or damage from continuous driving on flat tires. Damaged tires will be replaced with original ones - terms and conditions apply.
