Electric cars range.

Convenient everyday driving.

BMW iX xDrive60: Energy consumption, combined WLTP in kWh/100 km[1]: 21.9–17.9; Electric range, WLTP in km[2]: 563–701

Far. Further. Electric range. That's what determines how versatile an electric car is for everyday driving. BMW electric cars have high battery capacities, thanks to the use of innovative technologies. They are therefore both sustainable and high-performance. For instance, the BMW i7 eDrive50 and i7 xDrive60 achieve a fully electric range of over 600 km according to the WLTP cycle. The BMW iX xDrive60 as much as 701 km. To charge them, one of Europe's largest and constantly growing charging networks is at your disposal. Clever technologies on board further optimise the car's range. Charge-optimised routes automatically take over charge planning on longer journeys.

The charging capacity depends on the charge level, ambient temperature, individual driving profile and use of auxiliary devices as well as the actual vehicle selected. The charging times apply to ambient temperatures of 23 °C following a prior journey and may deviate according to usage characteristics. The values displayed are examples for the basic configuration of the model selected. The values may vary if the same vehicle has different equipment options.

BMW electric cars My Mode Efficient

In Efficient Mode, the Max Range function provides greater range certainty. If, for example, an identified charging station cannot be used as planned, the range of your electric BMW can be increased by up to 25%. At the touch of a button and while driving.

BMW electric cars Function Max Range

The drive power is reduced and the maximum speed is limited to 90 km/h. Comfort services, such as air conditioning or seat heating, are intelligently reduced. As much energy as possible is directed towards forward propulsion. The Max Range function is available for many fully electric BMW models. [1] Official data for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, power consumption and electric range was determined in accordance with the prescribed measuring procedure and corresponds to European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the applicable version. For ranges, data determined as per WLTP takes into account any optional equipment (available on the German market in this case). For vehicles that have been newly type approved since 1 January 2021, only the official data according to WLTP exists. In addition, NEDC values are deleted from the certificates of conformity as of 1 January 2023 by EC regulation 2022/195. For more information about NEDC and WLTP measuring procedures visit www.bmw.com/wltp

Further information about fuel consumption and official model-specific CO2 emissions of new passenger cars can be found in the "Guideline for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and electric power consumption for new passenger cars", available free of charge at all points of sale, at the Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT), Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern-Scharnhausen, Germany, and under https://www.dat.de/co2/.

[2] Range depends on various factors, in particular: individual driving style, route characteristics, outside temperature, heating/air conditioning, pre-conditioning.

[3] The charging performance depends on the state of charge, ambient temperature, individual driving profile and use of auxiliary consumers. The ranges shown are based on the WLTP best case. The charging times apply to ambient temperatures of 23 degrees Celsius after a preceding drive and may differ depending on the usage behaviour.

[4] The recharged range in km after 10 minutes of High-Power-Charging was determined according to DIN70080 in the WLTP cycle. It depends on the vehicle equipment, individual driving profile, ambient temperature, charging status and the use of additional consumers.

Provided technical data are measured according to the WLTP, not NEDC.
